Nearly 73, Pam Confesses He Was Always the One

Robin Williams and Pam Dawber formed a close friendship during the “Mork & Mindy” TV show. Williams, playing Mork, auditioned in a unique way, and Dawber was selected without auditioning. Despite initial doubts, they became close on set.

Williams’ playful antics, considered inappropriate today, were part of the ’70s culture. He turned to cocaine during the show to cope with social anxiety.

After the series, their paths diverged, but they reunited in 2014 on “The Crazy Ones.” Williams, unaware of Dawber’s casting, was moved when he found out. Unfortunately, Williams took his life on August 11, 2014, shocking Dawber. She urged those struggling to seek help.
