Season 19 of NCIS has brought significant changes, with Emily Wickersham’s character Bishop being replaced by Katrina Law’s Jessica Knight and Mark Harmon leaving his role as Gibbs. However, showrunner Steven D. Binder hinted at the possibility of Gibbs returning, stating, “Never count Leroy Jethro Gibbs out.” Sean Murray, who plays McGee, mentioned seeing Harmon on set, leaving room for Gibbs’ return.
Michael Weatherly, who completed his series “Bull,” could also make a comeback. Gary Cole’s addition as Alden Parker has been well-received, and Murray praised his performance. Despite the changes, the show was renewed for a 20th season. Murray looks forward to McGee’s future storylines and trusts the writers to keep things interesting.
