NCIS: L.A actor Daniela Ruah Makes a Triumphant Return to the NCIS Verse

LL Cool J returns to NCIS: Hawai’i, and Daniela Ruah, known as Kensi Blye in NCIS: Los Angeles, transitions to directing. After directing six NCIS: LA episodes, Ruah will direct an NCIS episode in March and one for NCIS: Hawai’i in April.

Ruah expressed her honor at returning to the NCIS set, saying, “Kensi was born as a character on NCIS 15 years ago… It’s like coming home.”

In a November 2022 Parade interview, Ruah emphasized her directorial approach of knowing when to intervene and when to let others work their magic. NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i will resume with new episodes on February 12, marking the 21st season of NCIS and the third season of Hawai’i.
