Cote de Pablo, best known for her role on NCIS, had an interesting journey to stardom. Born Maria Jose de Pablo Fernandez in Chile, she moved to Miami as a child. In middle school, she discovered her love for acting and attended the New World School of the Arts. She even co-hosted a talk show at 15.
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon with a degree in musical theater, she moved to New York, where she worked as a waitress and began her acting career.
She eventually landed her role on NCIS, impressing producers with her audition alongside Michael Weatherly. Her character, Ziva David, became a fan favorite, earning her awards and recognition. After eight seasons, she left the show but returned briefly in season 17 to wrap up her character’s storyline. Outside of NCIS, she received acclaim for her role in the film “The 33.”
While her future projects are uncertain, her talent and dedication continue to be admired.
